My poor neglected blog.
I feel a bit like Sleeping Beauty waking up after the 100 years' sleep. But less rested.
Lots has happened in the past year. I've learned a tremendous amount, written two books, and found like minded people on Twitter (@Jenna_Penrose) and Facebook.
Look for a series of updates in the next few days/weeks to bring everything up to date.
Short version:
Participated in SavvyAuthors' pitch session and got two submission requests.
Pitched at the Washington Romance Writers' Retreat and got three more requests.
Had a Subject Matter Expert (SME) review the manuscript.
Had a friend (and freelance editor) give me first pass feedback
Will finish revisions and have two more people give it a proofread next week.
And then..... I'm submitting it. Hope you stay along for the ride!
